Q: Where and when does finalization take place?
A: Finalization takes place in San Antonio at Bexar County District Court six months after Placement. You can get a waiver from the Court so that only one adoptive parent needs to travel for Finalization. Flight schedules allowing, finalization may be accomplished in one day.
