Q: Does it matter where we live if we decide to use ASA for our adoption?

A: Not at all! ASA has helped couples from all over the United States. For the states that require out-of-state agencies to license with them, ASA is licensed in New York and approved (all that is required) in Connecticut.

Due to Hague Convention restrictions, we cannot work with non-U.S. citizens residing abroad unless one of them is a U.S. citizen or if they were approved to adopt in their country before April 1, 2008. More information is in this section at:
